Modern Slavery Statement
Modern slavery statement for financial year 2025/2026
This statement is made pursuant to s.54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (UK) and the relevant laws in India and sets out the steps that Itigai Limited and its subsidiaries have taken and are continuing to take to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain.
Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour. Itigai Limited has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business or our supply chain.
Our business
Itigai Limited is a specialist provider of training, consultancy and services dedicated to Software Supply Chain Management. Consequently, we work with some of the world’s leading brands and therefore have an opportunity to influence beyond our company size.
Our high-risk areas
Itigai Limited would not tolerate in any form modern slavery or human trafficking from our own representatives. We only work with the highest quality of business partners, and we expect their policies to match or exceed our own. Our customers are a broader audience and we empower all our staff to report to our directors any concerns they may experience whilst working with customers. Any concern reported will be treated without prejudice, confidentially and will be acted upon through legal channels if necessary. Itigai Limited will terminate a contract with a customer if modern slavery is suspected and not resolved to our satisfaction.
Our policies
We operate a number of internal policies to ensure that we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. These include:
- Standards of Business Conduct. This policy sets out the organisation’s stance on how the company expects its employees and workers to conduct themselves and explains how employees and workers can identify any instances of unethical practices and where they can go for help.
- Recruitment policy. We operate a robust recruitment policy, including conducting screening checks for all employees to safeguard against human trafficking or individuals being forced to work against their will.
- Whistleblowing policy. We operate a whistleblowing policy so that all employees know that they can raise concerns about how colleagues are being treated, or practices within our business or supply chain, without fear of reprisals.
Our suppliers
Itigai Limited operates a supplier policy. We expect all suppliers to operate an anti-modern slavery policy and we will randomly check suppliers for the existence of such a policy. Where one does not exist, we will raise the topic with senior management. We may terminate the contract at any time should any instances of modern slavery come to light.
Our performance indicators
We will know the effectiveness of the steps that we are taking to ensure that slavery and/or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain if:
- No reports are received from employees, the public, or law enforcement agencies to indicate that modern slavery practices have been identified.
- Our employees accept this policy and indicate that they are willing to report any instances of modern slavery which they encounter.
